As part of the Ten Towns Programme, local artist JenksArt has been commissioned to create vibrant street art across our rural market towns. Seven murals are ready to explore with a further three in development to complete late Spring.

- Laugharne – Clifton Street, Carmarthen SA33 4GQ
- Cross Hands – side of Squires and Lane Hairdressers, Llandeilo Road SA14 6NA
- St Clears – side of Evans Pharmacy, Pentre Road, St Clears, SA33 4AA
- Whitland – Cricket Club, Whitland, SA34 0HR
- Llandeilo –Jenkins Pharmacy, Cubitts Court, Llandeilo, SA19 6HJ
- Kidwelly- Rugby Club, Station Road, Kidwelly, SA17 4SU
- Newcastle Emlyn- toilet blocks, SA38 9BG
Llanybydder, Cwmaman and Llandovery will be the next areas for Jenks to visit to inject colour and character to our market towns.
Carmarthenshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Rural Affairs, Community Cohesion and Planning Policy, Cllr Carys Jones commented: “Thanks to the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund and the 10 Towns project, we have been able to show Carmarthenshire’s history, culture and community spirit through art!
