GREEN-FINGERED Guides have been helping to ensure that Cardigan Castle’s gardens remain spick and span for the coming months.
Brioude Gardens, which are located at the castle entrance, are usually planted and tended by castle gardeners.
However, Cardigan Guides have been lending a hand with planting, weeding and general maintenance in the gardens.
The girls came to the site on Tuesday evening (May 17) to chat to castle gardener Mark Dellar. They were also given a tour of the castle and its impressive grounds.
Both Brioude Twinning Committee and Cardigan Town Council have donated £100 each to spend on plants for the girls to plant up in the garden.
