A BRECON-BASED esports club is continuing to make its mark across Wales after winning the Welsh Esports League title for a second season in a row.
S.E.A. Dragons, founded in 2024, has now been crowned overall Club of the Season in both Welsh Esports League #9 and #10.
The latest season was one of the league’s biggest and most competitive yet, with 18 clubs from across Wales taking part across six game titles:
- Chess (online)
- EA FC 26
- Valorant
- Rocket League
- CS2
- Rainbow Six Siege
S.E.A. Dragons competed across five of those titles, and once again finished top of the overall standings.

The club took 1st place in Rocket League and 1st place in CS2, while also picking up second-place finishes in Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege and Chess. Their CS2 side has also still never lost a league match since the club was formed, stretching that record across three full seasons. That consistency has become a major part of the club’s rise. After finishing
3rd overall in WEL #8, which was their first ever season in the competition, the Dragons have now gone on to win the next two league titles back-to-back.
Away from the Welsh Esports League, the club has also started to make progress on a wider stage. Its Rocket League team has recorded multiple top 64 finishes in RLCS European competition, going up against fields of more than 1,500 teams.
Patryk Białowąs, Founder and CEO of S.E.A. Dragons, said the latest title means even more because of how much the standard across the league has risen.
He said: “To win Club of the Season back-to-back means a huge amount to us, especially with how quickly the level of competition in Wales is growing.
“There are more clubs, more investment and higher standards now than when we first entered, so to stay at the top through that is something we’re really proud of.

“We started this club with a clear idea of what we wanted it to be, competitive, structured and built to create opportunities.
“To now be representing Powys through back-to-back titles, while also competing in European events, is a big moment for everyone involved.”
S.E.A. Dragons has built its identity around a data-driven approach to competition, using performance analysis and structure more commonly associated with traditional sport.
In just over a year, the organisation has grown rapidly, worked with more than 100 players and staff, and established itself as one of the most recognised esports clubs in Wales. With another Welsh title secured and the club continuing to compete beyond Wales, S.E.A. Dragons now looks set to keep building on that momentum.
