INVESTIGATIONS have commenced within Dyfed-Powys Police into the death of a horse that was found mutilated in Carmarthen. 

The horse, that was found in a field in Carmarthen, was last seen alive at 5pm on December 27, and its death is being treated as suspicious.

A spokesperson from Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Police are investigating after the body of a horse was found mutilated in a field in the Carmarthen area on Monday December 28.”

Anyone who has any information relating to the investigation is asked to contact Carmarthen Police by calling 101.
