TWO late goals helped Goodwick United earn a point in their game with Clarbeston Road on Saturday (Jan 7).
The point keeps Clarby in sixth place in the table while it sees Goodwick move five points behind leaders Merlins Bridge but they now only have one game in hand on them.
Clarby took the lead midway through the first half as former Goodwick player Rob Morgans scored from the spot.
It remained that way until half time and a goal from Matthew Davies in the 74th minute seemingly set them on their way to victory.
Goodwick pulled a goal back though with Scott Delaney scoring with nine minutes to go.
Clarby were reduced to ten men late on and in the sixth minute of time added on Rhys Jones scored to level the game at 2-2.
There was no time for a winner and both would have to settle for a point.
On Saturday, January 14, Goodwick United travel to Merlins Bridge for a top-of-the-table clash while Clarbeston Road travel to St Ishmaels.
