GLOW BYD BACH is proud to announce its return with a fresh new vibe for LGBTQ+ young people aged between 13 and 18 in Cardigan, run by Small World Theatre and supported by Children in Need.
Glow was established by the Cardigan-based charity in 2023 to support young people who identified as LGBTQ+. The young people themselves came up with the name and decided the kinds of activities and support they needed.
Faye Brightman, Glow’s project coordinator said: “It is amazing to see Glow return. Now more than ever, LGBTQ+ young people must have a space where they can feel safe in a non-judgmental environment. I’m really looking forward to meeting new members.’’
GLOW is dedicated to uplifting the voices of LGBTQ+ youth and supporting them on their journeys of self-discovery and empowerment through collaborative art projects and lively discussions. The aim is to provide a safe, welcoming space at Small World Theatre where LGBTQ+ youth can truly relax and connect with others.
The project begins with a series of outreach sessions across West Wales in different youth group environments such at The Depot, Cardigan and Caffi Ieuenctid 56, Lampeter.
