Police appeal after three students assaulted by man in skeleton outfit in Aberystwyth

Police are investigating reports that three students were attacked in Aberystwyth by a man dressed in a skeleton-themed outfit in the early hours of Wednesday, 8 October.

The incident is said to have occurred near the bridge on Penglais Hill at around midnight, prompting an appeal from Dyfed-Powys Police for witnesses to come forward.

According to the force, it is alleged that a man assaulted three students before leaving the scene on foot, heading in the direction of Aberystwyth town centre.

Officers have issued a description of the suspect, who is said to be a white male in his twenties, around six feet tall, of large build, with long dark hair. At the time of the incident, he was reportedly dressed entirely in black, wearing a top featuring a skeleton pattern and white shoes.

Dyfed-Powys Police have urged anyone who saw the incident, or who recognises the description, to contact them.
