AN investigation is underway following the discovery of an 11-week-old baby found dead at a property in Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf.
South Wales Police were called to the scene on Monday morning, where the infant was pronounced dead.
A spokesperson for South Wales Police confirmed, “Investigations into the death are ongoing and you will see an increase in police presence in the area during this time.” The child’s family has requested privacy during this difficult period.
The police presence is expected to remain heightened as the investigation continues. Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the circumstances of the baby’s death.
