Magistrates deal with alcohol-related breach
A LICENSING breach was dealt with at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Feb 4).
Gareth Price, 39, of Queen Street, Aberystwyth, admitted breaching the terms of a premises licence following an incident on December 6, 2025.
The court heard that Price was the designated premises supervisor at licensed premises in the town and failed to ensure that alcohol was supplied in accordance with the conditions of the licence.
He pleaded guilty to the offence at the hearing, and a conviction was recorded the same day.
Magistrates fined Price £300 and ordered him to pay £85 in prosecution costs along with a £120 surcharge. A collection order was made to allow time for payment.
