Defendant fined after admitting behaviour offence
A 41-YEAR-OLD man appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court to answer a public order charge.
Rhys Morgan, of North Road, Aberystwyth, appeared before magistrates on Wednesday (Feb 4) in connection with an incident that took place on January 11.
The court heard that Morgan used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour, likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. Morgan pleaded guilty to the charge.
Magistrates fined him £120 and ordered him to pay £85 in prosecution costs along with a £48 victim surcharge. A collection order was made to allow time for payment.
