Guilty plea entered at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court
A YOUNG motorist has been banned from the roads after admitting a drug-driving offence when he appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court.
Sam Jenkins, 22, of Castell Farm, Llanfair Road, Llanbedr Pont Steffan, Ceredigion, appeared before magistrates on Wednesday (Feb 4) in connection with an offence committed on September 21, 2025.
The court heard that Jenkins drove a motor vehicle when the proportion of a specified controlled drug in his blood exceeded the legal limit. He pleaded guilty to the offence.
Magistrates imposed an obligatory driving disqualification. Jenkins was also ordered to pay prosecution costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
