ANGLESEY County Council would like to congratulate all learners on their achievements in this year’s GCSEs and other Level 1 and 2 qualifications.
The Council wishes every young person the very best for the future and acknowledges the support and encouragement they have received from their schools, teachers, parents, and families.
Learners are encouraged to take full advantage of the advice and guidance available to them on the wide variety of post-16 pathways. Whether choosing school, college, apprenticeships, or moving into the world of work, we wish them every success in the exciting journeys ahead.
Councillor Dafydd Roberts, Anglesey’s Education and Welsh Language Portfolio Holder, said: “Congratulations to all the young people on Anglesey receiving their results today.
“This is a fantastic milestone, and whether you are continuing your education or beginning your career, I wish you the very best for this next exciting chapter.”
He added: “A heartfelt thank you also goes to our dedicated school staff, along with the parents and families, for the encouragement and guidance they have given throughout the journey.”
Aaron C Evans, Anglesey’s Director of Education, Skills and Young People, added: “I’d like to send my congratulations to everyone celebrating their results today, and a sincere thanks to their families for the support they have given along the way.”
“I hope your achievements open the doors you’ve been working towards – whether that’s continuing at school, moving on to college, starting an apprenticeship, or entering employment.
“For anyone who feels uncertain about their next steps, there is plenty of advice available through schools and Careers Wales. Best wishes to you all for the future.
He concluded: “A huge thank you to our schools, teachers, education staff and other partners from the wider community for their commitment, hard work and guidance in helping our learners reach this important stage in their lives.”
