A POPULAR Llandudno bar has “voluntarily” closed its doors after a visit from Conwy Council’s licensing department.
Fat Cat on Upper Mostyn Street shut its doors after the council visited last week as part of an inspection.
A spokeswoman for Conwy County Council said: “The premises were inspected as part of our usual risk-based inspection regime.
“The premises closed voluntary; no formal notices were issued at the time; enquiries are ongoing so we can make no further comment.”
She added: “Conwy licensing officers were supported by police, fire service, and trading standards officers, who were taking part in a separate operation.”
The Local Democracy Reporting Service attempted to contact the venue.
