SAM ROWLANDS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, has expressed his delight at the launch of a brand-new Paris San-Germain Academy programme based at Coleg Cambria.
Mr Rowlands, a keen football fan and an admirer of the achievements of the college which has six campuses across Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire said: “I really do admire all the work which is being done at Coleg Cambria to not only highlight the excellent range of courses on offer but also to continue to add new ones.
“It is so exciting to be associated with one of the most famous football clubs in the world and fantastic news for North Wales.
“The partnership with the PSG Academy UK comes hot on the heels of Wrexham AFC winning three promotions on the bounce with football interest sky high in my region.
“I am absolutely delighted with the college’s continued success.”
Coleg Cambria is has announced an exciting new partnership with Paris Saint-Germain Academy UK, bringing world-class football training to North Wales through the launch of a brand-new PSG Academy programme based at the college
Launching in September 2025, the football academy will offer young players aged 16-19 the chance to train under the renowned methodology of Paris Saint-Germain, one of the most iconic football clubs in the world, while studying full-time at one of the UK’s leading further education colleges.
Combining the PSG Academy coaching model with Coleg Cambria’s strong academic provision, the programme will create unique pathways for students to develop their footballing talent and achieve their educational goals.

Applications for the 2025 intake are now open, with open days and trials scheduled. Prospective students and parents are encouraged to register their interest early, as places are expected to be in high demand.
