THE CHURCH in Wales is delighted to announce the appointment of Tomos Dobson as Operations Manager at Bangor Cathedral.
Tomos will work closely with the Dean and Chapter to oversee all operational, financial, and governance functions. Tomos will be responsible for the smooth running of daily activities, supporting staff and volunteers and sustaining the cathedral’s mission, hospitality, and community engagement.
Tomos brings valuable expertise to strengthen the governance and financial stability of the Cathedral. A Bangor University graduate in Business Management and current Chair of Môn FM Radio station, he has extensive experience in communications, broadcasting, leadership, and management. As a fluent Welsh speaker, Tomos will be a strong addition to the Cathedral staff team.
Outside of work, Tomos is passionate about music and singing with Hogia’r Ddwylan, a choir from Anglesey. He also enjoys composing his own music while walking the beautiful coastlines of North Wales.

This new role has been made possible through funding from the Church in Wales as part of their commitment to supporting the six Anglican Cathedrals across Wales.
