SOUTH WALES Central Conservative MS Andrew RT Davies has warned discrimination against non-Welsh speakers will increase if Plaid Cymru separatists win May’s Senedd elections.
Trefor and Llanaelhaearn Community Council, located within the Gwynedd Council area, requested a planning condition that 15 homes are reserved for people who are able to speak Welsh.
It follows proposals by the Plaid Cymru separatist-led Gwynedd Council to phase out English language education in the county.
Mr Davies said: “This proposal to reserve housing for Welsh speakers only follows plans by the Plaid Cymru separatist led Gwynedd Council to phase out English language education.
“Gwynedd is one of the few places Plaid Cymru separatists are in power – and we should judge them by their record.

“If Plaid Cymru separatists win the Senedd elections – discrimination against non-Welsh speakers will increase.”
