Plaid Cymru and Reform big winners in Fflint Wrecsam vote

PLAID CYMRU and Reform have claimed two seats each in Fflint Wrecsam in the 2026 Senedd Election.

Incumbent Labour and Conservative Senedd Members Ken Skates and Sam Rowlands also retained their seats despite a late voting check at Wrexham University.

The election saw a turnout of 45.6% across Wrexham and Flintshire and 70,167 ballots were accepted into  the count.

By the end the results were:

Reform – 25,349 votes
Plaid Cymru – 18,440 votes
Welsh Conservatives – 9,017 votes
Welsh Labour – 8,555 votes
Green Party – 5,138 votes
Welsh Liberal Democrats – 2,647 votes
Andrew John Williams – 429 votes
Heritage Party – 256 votes
