SAM ROWLANDS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, is urging local businesses to find out more about the National Eisteddfod being held in Wrexham next month.
Wrexham Industrial Estate and city centre are hosting free business drop in sessions today (July 22) where you can find out more out about this major event coming to the area from August 2-9.
Mr Rowlands, Chair of the Senedd’s Cross-Party Group on Tourism said: “I am really delighted to see one of the main festivals in the Welsh calendar being held here in Wrexham and look forward to the area welcoming thousands of visitors to this major event.
“It is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our language and culture and showcase this part of Wales and I am pleased to see that local businesses are being invited to get involved.
“With only three weeks to go until the National Eisteddfod arrives here I would urge anyone who wants to find out more to sign up for the free sessions.”
The National Eisteddfod is one of the major festivals in the world and will be visiting Wrexham this year from August 2-9 and located at Is-y-coed.
The Eisteddfod is a friendly and warm festival that is an eclectic celebration of our language and culture, and welcome around 175,000 visitors to the area as a result.
