“JCB is one of the top three manufacturers of construction equipment in the world and it is always a pleasure to be shown around this fantastic plant which is at the forefront of new technology.
“I was particularly impressed with the Gearbox and Axle production lines as well as the new Generator factory which includes Hydrogen Generators and is creating new jobs locally.
“This is very welcome news for the area and it is great to see major developments continuing at Wrexham Industrial Estate.”
Mr Rowlands was given a tour of the new facility by Operations Director, Craig Weeks and had the opportunity to chat with staff working in the new section.
The new production line includes green Hydrogen generators as well as battery packs, which are being built for sale in the UK as well as global export.
