STAFF and residents at Bryn Ivor Lodge care home in Marshfield, Cardiff were filled with festive cheer recently as they welcomed the return of the much-loved Hospice Harmony Choir for a special Christmas Performance.
The visit was made even more meaningful as it celebrated the joy and pride of resident Muriel, aged 103, who beamed throughout the performance. The choir visit was kindly organized by Muriel’s daughter Jean, and marked the second time the Hospice Harmony Choir has performed at the home, following equally moving visit in the past.
The choir’s beautiful harmonies and heartfelt Christmas repertoire brought smiles, memories and moments of reflection to everyone in attendance. Residents gathered together with loved ones and staff to enjoy the performance, many singing along tapping their feet and sharing emotional reactions as the music filled the room.
