RESIDENTS at Barchester Bryn Ivor Lodge in Castleton, Cardiff enjoyed a heart warming afternoon during our recent Cuppa with a Coppa event, where two local police officers joined us for tea, cakes, and conversation. The visit gave everyone a chance to share stories, ask questions, and connect with those who help keep our community safe.
Laughter and chatter filled the lounge as residents enjoyed freshly baked treats and tea while learning more about the officers’ work in the local area. The informal setting helped spark meaningful discussions and lots of smiles.
Our General Manager, Liliana Ungureanu said: “Events like Cuppa with a Coppa are so important for building strong community relationships.
“It’s wonderful for our residents to meet local officers in such a friendly, relaxed environment — it helps everyone feel more connected and supported.”
The afternoon was a great success, and residents are already looking forward to welcoming the officers back for another cuppa soon.
