AS THE UK’S original off-grid, grassroots festival, The Green Gathering is one of Wales’ one-of-a-kind festivals, and new research has officially named it one of the UK’s best value underrated festivals.
New research from Betway Casino analysed 28 festivals across ticket prices, Spotify listeners, and social media presence to uncover the hidden gems best placed to fill the Glastonbury gap this year.
The Green Gathering ranks fourth among the UK’s best value music festivals, at just £43.75 per day. Taking place between 30 July and 2 August, the event is known for its focus on sustainability, community-living and low-impact culture, and is a great option for festival-goers seeking environmentally conscious events that deliver good value alongside music, workshops and indie culture.
With Glastonbury on a fallow year, many music fans are searching for alternative festival experiences beyond the major mainstream events. From coastal city takeovers to countryside indie escapes, the UK’s festival scene continues to offer a wide range of immersive and affordable options.
