THIS MONTH, on Saturday, April 18, Swansea Grand Theatre will host The Pearl Revue, an all-star comedy, cabaret and burlesque show!
The Pearl Revue has been touring venues across South Wales. Every show brings together an all-star cast of circus sensations, drag royalty, burlesque icons, vaudeville charmers, sideshow daredevils, comedians, and more. Think of it as the Cabaret Avengers! No two shows are ever the same, but each night is a guaranteed dopamine hit. Expect glamour, giggles and just the right touch of mischief.
Hosted by cabaret legend Lilly Snatchdragon, the show at the Swansea Grand promises to be one of the best so far. The all-star cast includes spellbinding magic from The Rockstar Magician, sensational burlesque from FouFou Kaboom and Oola Pearl, and jaw-dropping circus skills from Amazi. There will also be drag from local, Swansea-based performer Wayne King.

The Pearl Revue is produced by Quill & Pearl Presents, a cabaret and theatre production company based in South Wales, run by award-winning cabaret performer Oola Pearl and the television writer and producer, Kit Lambert. As well as being one of the stars of the UK burlesque scene, Oola Pearl was co-producer of the highly successful, sold-out Wales Burlesque Festival in 2024. Quill & Pearl Presents’ shows are already appearing at venues across Wales and beyond, including Wales Millennium Centre, The Globe in Hay-on-Wye, The Riverfront Newport, and Penarth Pier Pavilion.
With the growing interest in cabaret and burlesque across the UK, Oola and Kit are passionate about making sure that Wales’ audiences have access to the best that the art form has to offer, showcasing the most talented acts and providing opportunities for professional performers.
