King Charles Breaks Silence over Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor

Investigation Linked to Epstein and Official Duties

KING CHARLES III has spoken out for the first time following the shocking arrest of his brother, Prince Andrew, on suspicion of misconduct in public office, in what is being described as a historic first for a senior British royal.

In a statement, the King said:
“I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten‑Windsor. What follows is the full, fair, and proper process by which this issue is investigated by the appropriate authorities. In this, they have our full support. The law must take its course.”

Andrew, 66, has previously stepped back from royal duties and has repeatedly maintained his innocence. This arrest marks a dramatic moment for both the royal family and the public alike.

He was taken into custody by Thames Valley Police on suspicion of misconduct in public office, following an investigation linked to his past role as a UK trade envoy and his long‑standing association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Police allege that during his official duties he may have shared sensitive government documents and information with Epstein, including confidential trade reports related to overseas visits, conduct which, if proven, could amount to a serious abuse of public trust under UK law.

The arrest comes amid renewed scrutiny of documents from the so‑called Epstein files and ongoing inquiries into both potential information‑sharing and other serious allegations tied to Epstein’s network, accusations Andrew has vehemently denied.

This is an unprecedented development in modern British royal history, underscoring both the seriousness of the charges and the principle that no one is above the law.

The investigation is still ongoing.
