A THEFT matter was dealt with when the case came before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Feb 4).
Bethan Lewis, 31, of Alexandra Road, Aberystwyth, appeared before magistrates in connection with an incident on January 9, 2026.
The court heard that Lewis stole goods from a retail premises in the town. She pleaded guilty to the offence at the hearing.
Magistrates ordered Lewis to pay compensation to the retailer. She was also ordered to pay prosecution costs and a surcharge. A collection order was made to allow time for payment.
