DRIVING offences committed in Ceredigion have been adjourned for sentencing at a Birmingham court.
Zeeshan Khan, 25, of Glastonbury Crescent, Bloxwich, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Feb 11) charged with two road traffic offences.
The court heard that on September 9, 2025, on the B4577 near Cross Inn, he drove a motor vehicle, registration YR17 JWL, while disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence, contrary to section 103(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
He was also charged with using a motor vehicle on a road without third party insurance, contrary to section 143 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
Khan changed his pleas to guilty at the magistrates’ court on February 11, 2026, and was convicted the same day.
The case was adjourned for sentence and transferred to Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on March 30.
