Failure to provide specimen leads to community order

Capel Bangor man sentenced after guilty plea

A 29-YEAR-OLD man has been given a community order after admitting a motoring offence at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Feb 4).

Daniel Bentham, of Cefn Melindwr, Capel Bangor, Ceredigion, appeared before magistrates on in connection with an offence of failing to provide a specimen for analysis after being required to do so, in connection with the investigation of a driving offence that occurred on January 26. He pleaded guilty to the charge when he appeared before the court.

Magistrates imposed a community order, which will remain in force until March 3, 2027. Bentham was also ordered to pay prosecution costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
