A MAN is to stand trial at the Crown Court after appearing before magistrates facing a series of alleged violent and threatening offences.
Aaron Davies, aged 35, of Heol Las, North Cornelly, Bridgend, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (December 30).
The court heard that Davies faces multiple charges arising from incidents alleged to have taken place in September and December this year. These include assault by beating, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, harassment without violence, making threats to damage or destroy property, and threatening to share a photograph or film of a person in an intimate situation.
Several of the alleged offences are said to have occurred on September 25 and September 26, with further matters dated December 27.
Magistrates determined that the case was too serious to be dealt with at summary level and sent the matter to the Crown Court for trial.
Davies was granted conditional bail and will next appear before the Crown Court at a later date.
