Five separate matters heard by magistrates arising from same day
A BRECON man appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court facing a series of charges including public order offences, assault, criminal damage and breach of bail, all arising from incidents alleged to have taken place on the same day.
Jamie Davies, aged 35, of Oxford House, Watton, Brecon, Carmarthenshire, appeared before the court on Monday, January 26 in connection with five separate matters.
Magistrates heard that Davies is charged with two counts of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He also faces allegations of criminal damage and assault by beating. In addition, Davies is accused of breaching bail conditions imposed by the court. All of the offences are alleged to have occurred on January 24, 2026.
No pleas or verdicts were formally recorded in relation to these matters, and the cases were adjourned for further proceedings.
In a separate appearance on the same day, Davies, described as being of no fixed abode and giving an address on Llangunnor Road, Llangunnor, Carmarthen, SA31 2PF, appeared before the court charged with shop theft.

The court heard that on January 24, 2026, Davies also stole goods to the value of £33 from Home Bargains. He pleaded guilty to the offence and was ordered to pay £16 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
