Road traffic offence dealt with at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court
USING a vehicle that did not have a valid MOT certificate, a Llanelli man has been fined by magistrates.
Mark Phillips, aged 39, of Llanelli, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (Feb 3) in connection with an offence said to have taken place on January 6, 2026.
The court heard that Phillips used a motor vehicle on a road when the vehicle did not have a valid MOT certificate in force. He entered a guilty plea, which was accepted by the bench.
Magistrates imposed a fine of £120. He was also ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs along with a £48 victim surcharge.
