Llanelli woman sentenced for assault offence

Domestic incident dealt with at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court

FOLLOWING an incident described by prosecutors as domestic in nature, a Llanelli woman has been sentenced after admitting an assault offence.

Ceri Williams, aged 41, of Llanelli, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (Feb 3) in connection with an offence said to have taken place on December 28, 2025.

The court heard that Williams assaulted another person by beating during an incident at a residential address. She entered a guilty plea, which was accepted by the magistrates.

Magistrates imposed a community order requiring Williams to complete a number of rehabilitation activity days, aimed at addressing the behaviour that led to the offence. She was also ordered to pay prosecution costs along with the statutory victim surcharge.

A restraining order was imposed, prohibiting Williams from contacting the victim directly or indirectly for a period set by the court.
