Llansteffan man remanded in custody over assaults on emergency workers

A 31-YEAR-OLD man from Glan y Môr, Llansteffan was remanded in custody after appearing at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Friday (Sept 12).

The charges relate to incidents on September 9, 2025, and include:

  • Assaulting a constable in the execution of his duty;
  • Two counts of common assault of an emergency worker;
  • Assault by beating of an emergency worker;
  • A further count of common assault.

No pleas were entered. Magistrates Miss J Phillips and Mr P Casey remanded the defendant in custody pending his next appearance. The Crown was represented by CPS Wales (South West).
