14-year-old girl admits obstruction and assault offences
A 14-YEAR-OLD girl appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Friday (Feb 6) in connection with a series of incidents involving police officers.
The court heard that the youth admitted obstructing or resisting a constable in the execution of their duty during an incident on January 22, 2026. She also pleaded guilty to assault by beating, contrary to section 39 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988, relating to the same incident on January 22.
In addition, magistrates dealt with a further matter arising from February 6, when the youth was arrested by a constable. She admitted a breach offence connected to that arrest.
Magistrates ordered that the case be adjourned until February 20, in order for youth justice reports to be prepared. The youth was remanded on conditional bail.
