Court hears abusive behaviour, criminal damage and assault charges
A CARMARTHEN MAN has been remanded on conditional bail following multiple convictions arising from the same incident.
Grant Davies appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Friday (Feb 6), where magistrates dealt with three offences committed on October 15, 2025.
The court found Davies guilty of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He was also convicted of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000, relating to the same incident.
In a further charge, Davies was convicted of assault by beating, contrary to section 39 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988. He had previously entered not guilty pleas to all three offences.
The convictions were formally recorded by the court on Friday (Feb 6).
Magistrates ordered that Davies be remanded on conditional bail, and the case was adjourned for further proceedings. No fixed date for the next hearing was given.
