SAM ROWLANDS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, is backing a national charity working towards a world where everyone affected by a brain tumour can live a longer better life.
Mr Rowlands, is supporting events to highlight Brain Tumour Awareness month 2026.
He said: “I am always happy to lend my support to this extremely important charity, which has now been running for 30 years, and raise awareness of this deadly cancer.
“Brain tumours are still the biggest cancer killer of people under 40 and although progress has been made a lot more needs to be done so that people receive a quicker diagnosis.
“There are lots of way you can help with the campaign by taking part or holding a Twilight Walk, invite friends for a Big Bake or spread the word and back the Better Safe Than Tumour campaign.
“It really is absolutely vital we get behind this charity and help to raise awareness.”
March 2026 is Brain Tumour Awareness Month and everyone is being invited to join together and march towards a world where everyone affected by a brain tumour can live a longer better life.
It is also an opportunity highlight the work that the charity is undertaking to support people to live longer and better, as well as ways to get involved and support the brain tumour community.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally.
Thirty years of progress has shown the charity what’s possible when a community comes together: Childhood diagnosis times halved. Groundbreaking treatments approved. Vital support for those affected.
The Brain Tumour Charity is not marking its 30th anniversary but celebrating 30 years of progress, powered by its supporters, fundraisers, volunteers, and researchers and reflecting on how far it has come.
