Magistrates impose obligatory ban following guilty plea
A PEMBREY man has been disqualified from driving after admitting a drink-driving offence at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Feb 4).
Richard Morris, 43, of Waun Sidan, Pembrey, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while over the prescribed alcohol limit. The offence was committed on September 20, 2025.
The court heard that Mr Morris was stopped while driving and was later found to be over the legal limit for alcohol. As a result of the guilty plea, the case was dealt with at the magistrates’ court without the need for a trial.
Magistrates imposed the obligatory period of driving disqualification required for such offences and ordered Mr Morris to pay prosecution costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
