Birmingham man ordered to pay compensation after guilty pleas
A 34-YEAR-OLD man from Birmingham appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court to answer two theft charges arising from the same incident.
Titel Neagu, of Old Walsall Road, Perry Barr, Birmingham, appeared before magistrates on Wednesday (Feb 4) in connection with offences committed on May 25, 2025.
The court heard that Neagu pleaded guilty to two counts of theft, described as theft including theft by finding. Both offences related to the same date and were dealt with together by the court.
The guilty pleas were entered on Wednesday (Feb 4), and convictions were recorded on the same date.
As part of the court’s disposal, magistrates ordered Neagu to pay £100 in compensation in relation to one count, and a further £50 in compensation in relation to the second count. He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs.
The case was concluded at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (Feb 4).
