Multiple charges denied at magistrates’ court

Defendant remanded on conditional bail as cases proceed

A LLANGARTHNE man appeared before magistrates facing multiple charges arising from separate alleged incidents.

Dilwyn Williams appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Friday (Feb 6) in connection with three offences.

The court heard that Williams denied a charge of persistently making use of a public electronic communications network for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety, relating to January 27.

He also entered a not guilty plea to aggravated trespass after allegedly failing to leave land on February 1, 2026.

In a further matter, Williams denied assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty, also alleged to have taken place on February 1.

Magistrates ordered that Williams be remanded on conditional bail. All three matters were adjourned for further proceedings.

No fixed date was given for the next court hearing.
