A MAN from Cefn Cribwr has admitted killing his wife at their home in Bridgend county.
Tracey Davies, 48, was found dead at the property on Friday, April 18, after police were called to the village following concerns for the welfare of two people.
Her husband, Michael Davies, 56, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
At Newport Crown Court this week, Davies pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility but denied murder.
The case has been adjourned until Friday, October 3, while further psychiatric reports are prepared.

In a tribute released in April, Ms Davies’ family described her as a “devoted mother” whose children were her “greatest pride.”
They added: “She was a cherished sister, a loyal friend, and a radiant presence whose laughter could light up any room.”
