Motorist admitted offence at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court
DRIVING a vehicle without the required insurance in place has resulted in a fine and penalty points being imposed by magistrates.
Jordan Evans, aged 24, of Burry Port, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Monday (Feb 2) in connection with an offence said to have taken place on January 11, 2026.
The court heard that Evans used a motor vehicle on a road while not insured against third-party risks. He entered a guilty plea, which was accepted by the bench.
Magistrates imposed a fine of £300 and ordered Evans to pay £85 in prosecution costs along with a £48 victim surcharge.
Six penalty points were endorsed on his driving licence as a result of the offence.
