Failure to surrender to court bail dealt with by magistrates
FAILING to attend court when required has resulted in a fine for a Llanelli woman.
Hannah Price, aged 26, of Llanelli, was due to appear before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (Feb 3) in connection with a failure to surrender to court bail said to have occurred on January 29, 2026.
The court heard that Price did not attend court as required, leading to the matter being dealt with in her absence.
Magistrates imposed a fine of £180. She was also ordered to pay £90 in prosecution costs along with a £48 victim surcharge.
The court warned that any further failure to attend could result in more serious action being taken.
