Man jailed for non-dwelling burglary

Court hears theft offence took place in December

A MAN has been jailed after admitting a burglary offence when he appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.

Joseph O’Driscoll, 41, of no fixed abode, Cardiff, appeared before the court charged with non-dwelling burglary involving theft. The offence was said to have taken place on December 20, 2024.

The court was told that Mr O’Driscoll indicated a guilty plea at the earliest opportunity. Taking this into account, along with the seriousness of the offence, magistrates imposed an immediate custodial sentence.

Mr O’Driscoll was also ordered to pay prosecution costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
