Defendant to return to court later this month for sentencing
A 36-YEAR-OLD woman has admitted assaulting another woman during an incident at a McDonald’s restaurant in Cross Hands.
Siobhan Bates, of Mountain Road, Upper Brynamman, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on January 8, where she pleaded guilty to a charge of assault by beating.
The court heard that the offence took place on July 14, 2025, at the fast-food restaurant on Heol Parc Mawr.
Magistrates released Bates on unconditional bail. She is due to return to Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on January 29 for sentencing, with a pre-sentence report to be prepared ahead of the hearing.
